RSI inspection protocol updated to reflect findings in STA report

In the autumn of 2020, the Swedish Government commissioned the Swedish Transport Agency (STA) to investigate and propose measures and possibilities of increased control, with a particular focus on working and living conditions, which can contribute to more safe, sustainable and efficient shipping. The report TSS 2020-2969 is the Swedish Transport Agency’s debriefing of the government assignment.

RSI has updated its inspection protocol to reflect the report. In order to include the conclusions from the report, the RSI inspection protocol has been updated with focus on Working and Living conditions onboard.

RSI is also pleased that STA finds RSI as a positive step towards safe, sustainable and effective shipping.
