RSI inspections on halt until further notice

RSI member companies have similar approach in regards to the Covid-19 outbreak; in short to protect our employees, to protect our businesses – and to take our societal responsibility. The decision to perform inspection on chartered vessels lies on each RSI member. As of now all member companies have put RSI inspections on halt until further notice.

RSI is following advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO) regarding the current outbreak of Covid-19 and support ITF statement below:

We call on all governments and transport companies to implement all measures available to them to limit the risk of transmission of the deadly coronavirus to transport workers globally. This is particularly important for airline, border, cruise workers, seafarers and port workers who are in the front line of the outbreak.
